Today was a lot more manageable than Tuesday. Partly assisted by not hearing my phone while helping in the classroom and lunchroom (it was on vibrate). I got one call from the health aide at Kate's school. Kate was in the office with a bloody nose that lasted for 40 minutes. Feh. She gets these if she doesn't use Vaseline in her nose. And they weren't so concerned about her nose, but she got a big bloodstain on the front of her shirt and she wanted a new shirt. But bad mommy did not call back (until almost 1 pm when I got home and saw lots of phone messages), so the health aide had her turn the shirt around and wear it backwards (it was striped, and she wore a vest over it, so you couldn't tell it was backwards and her hair hid the bloodstain) and sent her back to class.

Also, Al had issues with our home machine still trying to be logged in to work or something, so he tried to call me to ask me to reboot the home computers. Didn't get that call either. So he called Tami's house and asked her to run over and reboot the computers. So she did. Literally.

I helped set up and collate summer mailer packets from 9:15-10:10. I snagged Josh's packet, so the school can save on mailing costs. In this budget, every bit counts. I helped in Josh's class from 10:10-11. I got to cut up construction paper with a paper cutter. This is one of my strengths. And then fill out reading award certificates. This is not one of my strengths. "You realize that my son's horrible handwriting is genetic, don't you?"

Then the lunchroom from 11-12:30. Followed by dashing home for lunch and finding out about all the messages I missed. Sigh. On to the junior high, where I got the final order list for the Spaghetti Factory awards banquet. Called in the order to change it. Noticed one student counted twice. Called back to change it again.

Dashed back to Josh's school where I copied and cut up pages for booklets. I pulled him out of the bus line, then came home. I finished packing ticket envelopes. Mom and Dad came over to see the recent renovations. They also collated all 125 copies of books 6, 2 and 3. Yay Mom and Dad!

We went to the awards banquet at 6 pm at the Old Spaghetti Factory. The food was tasty. Although apparently mine was tastier than Kate's, so she finished off my spaghetti with clam sauce instead of her mushroom sauce.

Robert got a trophy for his Exceptional Dedication to choir. He went to the morning choir sessions so that the band students who wanted to sing would have kids to practice with. And he was always contributing and noticing things and pointing them out and stuff. Yay Robert!

So, only a sort of hectic day. I think tomorrow is almost a lazy day because the only scheduled thing I have is a lunch. The evening has overlapping karate and softball, so I will see if I can scrounge a ride for the boys.
